How We Got Started
In July of 2009, Kim Treat Calhoun-Wren set up Treat & Woodman LLC for SBA’s 8(a) program (still working on certification), Minority Small Business and was Certified a EDWOSB in March 2011 by the SBA. By doing this, Treat & Woodman can bid on projects set-aside for these programs and others.
Treat & Woodman LLC is licensed in Real Estate, Residential Construction, group 5 unlimited General, Mechanical, and Construction Management and Commercial Construction.

The Team
Kim Treat Calhoun-Wren
Kim is a Licensed South Carolina Real Estate agent, she attended R.B. Stall High School and has an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Rutledge College.
Brandie Wren
Brandie Wren is our Assistant Operations Manager, middle child of Maynard Wren, she is a 5th generation builder who grew up in and around the construction industry. She deals with the day-to-day operation of our office and all our administrative needs. She has 15 years of experience in business administration as well as being certified in Microsoft Office applications, customer service, human resources, data entry, and more.
Maynard Wren Jr.
Maynard Wren Jr is our Operations Manager, qualifying party for the General and Mechanical Contractor License and broker-in-charge for Treat & Woodman LLC. Maynard is a 4th Generation contractor with more than 42 years of experience in the construction and remodeling industry.
Maynard holds the following licenses:
- Charleston County General Contractors License (Received in 1978)
- South Carolina Mechanical Contractors (Received in 2015 / group 5 unlimited )
- South Carolina General Contractors License (Received in 1981 / up-graded to group 5 unlimited in 2008)
- South Carolina Real Estate License (Received in 1994 / Broker-in-Charge)
- South Carolina General Contractors Construction Management License (Received in 2008 / group 5 unlimited)
